MATTAPOISETT — The Council on Aging will host a still life drawing classes for artists of all skill levels on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. starting Jan. 7.

Bernie Kim, a professional educator and artist, will teach shading and other fundamental skills. The cost is $5 per session for adults over 60 and $10 per sessions for adults under 60.

The class requires 2B graphite sticks, charcoal pencils and a sketchbook or paper. Materials will be available to purchase before classes.
