ROCHESTER — In approving two athletic events on March 2, Selectmen decided to review the town’s roads with an eye to safety for bikers

Selectmen approved the Tour de Creme on May 17 and the On Your Left racing triathlon. 

Their member, Woody Hartley, pointed to the stretch of Mary’s Pond Road by East Over Farms as one example of a road they should look into.  

He said he would also bring the topic up at a safety meeting with the Fire Department, Police Department and Highway Department for more concrete improvements.
