Sippican Lands Trust to open Osprey Marsh by appointment

May 29, 2020

MARION —  Starting Thursday, June 4, visitors wanting to explore the Osprey Marsh accessible boardwalk again must book an appointment on the Sippican Lands Trust website.

Appointments are for a 1-hour time slot, and will allow boardwalk users to socially distance. Visitors should wear a face covering, practice social distancing and be courteous to other visitors while exploring Osprey Marsh or other Sippican Lands Trust properties this summer. For further information, visit www.sippicanlandstrust.org.

As part of re-opening the Osprey Marsh Accessible Boardwalk, the Sippican Lands Trust will also be launching a “show your support” campaign by encouraging visitors to drop off a decorated rock (large or small) or rocks at the entrance to the Osprey Marsh Accessible Boardwalk. These rocks can be decorated with messages about why nature is important to dropped off through Saturday, June 20. The Lands Trust will place your rock or rocks along the edge of the path to prevent erosion.
