Two more Marion businesses receive covid relief
MARION — State Senator Marc Pacheco announced on Jan. 28 that two more Marion businesses — Kate’s Simple Eats and A.B.R Vending, Inc. — will receive covid aid through the Small Business Grant Program.
Kate’s Simple eats will receive $40,000 and A.B.R Vending will receive $10,000 in aid.
The grants come as part of a $750,000 round of relief from the state, and follows three other rounds of relief totaling over $3 million.
“Since the COVID-19 Small Business Grant Program began in December 72 local businesses in the district I represent have been selected to receive a total of over $3.7 Million, these funds will go a long way in helping them to remain viable,” Pacheco said in a press release. “I am very pleased that they have been selected to receive these funds.”
