All are welcome to join the Mattapoisett Free Public Library Adult Cookbook Club for a virtual discussion of the award-winning cookbook Salt Fat Acid Heat by Samin Nosrat.

 

The discussion will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, June 15 at 6:30 p.m.

 

In her acclaimed book, chef Samin Nosrat teaches how mastering just four elements can help improve anyone’s cooking.

 

Salt enhances flavor and helps break down protein; fat adds flavor and generates texture; acid balances and brightens the flavors; while heat transforms the texture and the taste.

 

Salt Fat Acid Heat explains the hows and whys of good cooking, helping a new generation of cooks make better decisions in the kitchen.

 

Copies of the book will be available to check out from the library before the meeting.
