Join the Marion Natural History Museum to learn about how to identify birds using apps. 

Justin Barrett, museum board member and president of the Nasketucket Bird Club, will demonstrate the basics of the most popular birding apps.

The Great Backyard Bird Count, which takes place in February and documents bird populations around the country, is coming up and these apps will be extremely useful to identify birds in the field.

The lesson will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Marion Natural History Museum.
