Spring activities in bloom with Rochester Historical Society

ROCHESTER — Spring is right around the corner and the Rochester Historical Society’s activities will be in full swing.
The Rochester Historical Society’s first meeting of 2023 will be held on Wednesday, Apr. 19 at 7 p.m. at the East Rochester Church and Historical Museum, 355 County Road. Rochester Historical Society member Connie Eshbach will discuss ‘Celebrations from Rochester's Past.’ The Historical Society’s second meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 17. The owner of Nettie’s Bees will be a guest speaker.
On May 7, the Rochester Historical Society and the Town of Rochester will hold a dedication of rochester's newest war memorial honoring those who served in the War for Independence. The date and time of this event will be announced soon.
The society is also planning its second tour of Rochester Center Cemetery in June with more information to be announced.
