MARION — The Marion Town Party will be held beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Silvershell Beach. 

The rain date is Sunday, Aug. 27.

There will be food and beverages for sale, music by DJ Gary and the band Sentimental Fools.

The party will have inflatable games for kids, corn hole and when night falls there will have fire pits to gather around.

The town party is also looking for volunteers for set up, food service, selling tickets and for clean up.
