MARION — The Marion Garden Group and Marion Tree Committee are hitting the streets to tag trees lining the sidewalks in Marion Village on Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. 

Led by Sylvia Strand, volunteers will meet in Bicentennial Park to tag Marion’s street trees with aluminum plaques. People can volunteer to help or just spectate and offer encouragement.

Last year, the Marion Garden Group and Marion Tree Committee met to begin the process of tree tagging.
