Sippizine takes ‘next steps’ publishes second volume
MARION — The second volume of “Sippizine,” a semi-annual literary arts magazine founded by Marion resident Alanna Nelson, was released this month, publishing the work of South Coast area writers and photographers that related to the theme of “next steps.”
“Creative pops radiated from Sippizine’s first issue,” wrote Nelson in the introduction to Sippizine’s second volume. “Eleven creatives took their light and imagination to fire up the second issue’s theme ‘Next Step.’”
This volume contains the work of Krista Allen, Meredith Eilertsen, L.L.G, John Heavey, Anne-Marie Grillo, Amanda Lawrence, Heather Heath Reed, Alanna Nelson, Judith Westlund Rosbe, Gavin Santos and Lorene Sweeney.
The first and second volumes of Sippizine can be read online at sippizine.art.
