Marion native to sing with Tri-County Symphonic Band at pops show

MARION — The Tri-County Symphonic Band announced that a Marion native will sing with the group during its 21st annual pops concert.

Heather Corrigan will join the Tri-County Symphonic Band at “Broadway Showstoppers” June 9 at Tabor Academy.

A Tabor and University of Southern California graduate, Corrigan is an actress, vocalist and voiceover artist. She is also an executive assistant at the Marion Art Center.

Corrigan “has always been drawn to the stage” and has appeared onstage in New York, Los Angeles and across the country, according to a Tri-County Symphonic Band press release.

Most recently, Corrigan played the lead role in "Last Out; Elegy of A Green Beret," touring the country with the Gary Sinise Foundation. She has also appeared in film and television productions.

For audiobook narration work, Corrigan has received Audiofile’s “Earphones Award” and a starred review from Publishers Weekly.
