MARION — A series of mile-long races for kids during the summer is set to start its 21st season.

The Marion Mile, a set of “fun runs” on grass for children at Tabor Academy’s Martin Field, begins Tuesday, June 25 and continues July 2, 8, 16, 23, 30 and August 6.

The events include a half-mile race for children 6 and under and a one-mile race for ages 7 and older. T-shirts and medals will be given to all participants. Water and Gatorade will also be provided.

Pre-registration for a race is $25 per participant or $30 to register on site. The max cost for a family is $60.
