MARION — The Marion Art Center’s annual outdoor artisan market returns this summer.
Arts in the Park will be Saturday, July 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Bicentennial Park, across the street from the Marion Art Center. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, July 7.
The curated event will feature nearly fifty artists and vendors from across the region, including many new participants in 2024.
Shop for gifts, fine art and handmade goods at the artisan market like ceramics, clothing, collage, fiber, glass, jewelry, woodworking, painted and hand-crafted furniture, paintings, photography, and more.
Attendees can also grab lunch from the South Shore Smokehouse food truck, listen to live music by Richard Lewis and Molly O’Leary, and visit the Marion Art Center’s newest exhibit, “Nancy Dyer Mitton Paintings, a Survey: 1984-2024.” Kids can also play free games and activities on the center’s lawn.
Visits can enter for a chance to win prizes from a raffle featuring original artwork from each vendor.

Arts in the Park is sponsored in part by grants from the Mattapoisett and Rochester Cultural Councils, local chapters of the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
