Showcase your garden at the 113th Rochester Grange Fair

ROCHESTER — The best of the best when it comes to vegetables and flowers grown in Rochester will be determined on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the 113th annual Rochester Grange Fair.
Along with competitions judging the quality of dozens of fruits, vegetables and more, the fair will feature a ham and bean supper and an auction.
The fair will kick off at 1:30 p.m., followed by the supper at 6 and the auction at 7:15.
Festivities will take place at the Rochester Grange Hall, 205 Hartley Rd.
“Anybody can enter,” said Rochester Grange Secretary Susan LaFleur. “It is judged and there is prize money.”
LaFleur said a 4-H club will be bringing some animals to the event.
Admission to the fair is free of charge.
Other categories of items to be judged at the fair include eggs, house plants, baked goods and canned jams.
