MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Free Public Library’s monthly craft workshop for children has a wintry theme in January.

At the workshop Tuesday, Jan. 7 from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m., participants will create no-sew sock snowmen.

The craft “is a delightful way to add a touch of winter charm to your home” that can serve as a gift for family and friends during the chilly season, material from the library said.

The workshop is aimed for children 6 through 11.
