Rochester Police took to Facebook to extend a “feathered thank you” to the Cecil Family for their donation of birds of prey gloves to the department. 

This came after the department found themselves twice saving some scared feathered friends in the last month. 

“Not only will these gloves keep our hands safe while we (attempt to) channel our inner falconers, but they also make us look pretty cool — like we’re ready for a scene in a nature documentary! Who knew we’d be the proud new owners of such “fowl” fashion?” the post stated.
