WITH SLIDESHOW: Santa Claus and friends spread holiday cheer in Marion
The holiday season is in full swing in Marion.
On Sunday, hundreds gathered for the annual Village Holiday Stroll on Front Street.
With help from Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, and even the Grinch, Santa spread some Christmas cheer and mingled with his many young fans.
After arriving at Island Wharf by way of tugboat, Santa made his way around the Village on a horse-drawn carriage.
With a magic show and arts and crafts at the Music Hall, a petting zoo, face painting, jugglers, and a lot of free food courtesy of several local businesses, there was no shortage of activities on Sunday.
By sundown, everyone gathered at Bicentennial Park for the Christmas tree lighting as well as for some face time with Santa to share what they really wanted for Christmas.
