The Sippican Choral Society will present its annual spring concert on Friday, May 3, and on Saturday, May 4.

Starting with a patriotic anthem sung during the Revolutionary War, the concert presents a tribute to American songwriters and poets from the 1770s to the 1990s.

The chorus is directed by Brian Roderick, and accompanied by pianist Michelle Gordon and organist Dwight Thomas.The Sippican Chamber Choir will also perform, and the Southcoast Children’s Chorus will sing under the direction of Leslie Piper.

Both concerts will be performed at St. Gabriel’s Church, 124 Front Street Marion at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students. Tickets are available at The Bookstall in Marion; Gail’s Goodies and More, and the Symphony Music Shop in Dartmouth. Tickets will also be available at the door.
