Southcoast Health Welcomes Seven New Providers to Expand Patient Care

Southcoast Health is pleased to announce that the not-for-profit community health system welcomed seven new providers this month. They are joining cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, inpatient addiction medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery specialties, and the hospitalist program. 

Emily A. Bak, MSN, WHNP-BC | OB/GYN

Emily A. Bak, MSN, WHNP-BC obtained her Master of Science in Nursing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Regis College in Weston, MA. She now joins Southcoast Health Obstetrics & Gynecology seeing patients in Fall River.

Michelle Breda, MD | Inpatient Addiction Medicine

Michelle Breda, MD obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, NJ and completed Internal Medicine Residency at Brown University in Providence, RI. While working as a hospitalist at St. Luke’s Hospital she decided to pursue further training in Addiction Medicine and completed a fellowship at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital in June 2025. She now returns to Southcoast Health to practice Inpatient Addiction Medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital.  

Luke F. Daley, MD, FACC, RVPI | Cardiology

Luke F. Daley, MD, FACC, RVPI obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He now joins Southcoast Health Heart & Vascular caring for patients in Wareham.

Nicholas Kensey, DO | Hospitalist

Nicholas Kensey, DO obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, VA. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Brown University/Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. He now joins Southcoast Health as a Hospitalist caring for patients at all three hospitals.

Madison Mazoyer, PA-C | Orthopedic Surgery

Madison Mazoyer, PA-C obtained her Master of Health Science as a Physician Assistant from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. She now joins Southcoast Health Orthopedics caring for patients in Wareham.

Jhony J. Regis, NP | Endocrinology

Jhony J. Regis, NP obtained his Master of Science in Nursing from Salem State University in Salem, MA. He now joins Southcoast Health Endocrinology caring for patients in Fall River.

John Taylor, PA-C | Gastroenterology

John Taylor, PA-C obtained his Master of Science as a Physician Assistant from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. He now joins Southcoast Health Gastroenterology caring for patients in Fairhaven.
