‘Sanctuaries Full Circle’ celebrates area’s natural beauty

Artist Peter Stone will meet visitors to "Sanctuaries Full Circle" art night, an in-person art show and reception, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at Sippican Lands Trust offices, 173 Spring St.
MARION — "Sanctuaries Full Circle" art night, an in-person art show and reception, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at the Sippican Lands Trust headquarters, 173 Spring St.
Those attending can view the artwork and meet the artist, Peter Stone.
His work includes contemporary paintings of outdoor scenes such as Massachusetts cranberry bogs, common trees of North America, local salt marshes and landscapes, New England rivers, the 16th Green at Kittansett Golf Course, Martha’s Vineyard, and Marion’s own Hammett Cove.
There is also an online exhibition where his work can be viewed and bid on. The online exhibition will feature 19 oil paintings by the artist, varying in size from 9 x 12 inches to 18 x 36 inches.
