The Old Rochester Regional varsity teams continue their forays into the playoffs. Most teams’ seasons are over, but a couple remain.

Cross country: The boys and girls cross country teams are still running after winning both the South Coast Conference regular season title and championship title. The teams will compete at the divisional championships in Wrentham on Saturday.

Field hockey: The Bulldogs played Apponnequet, and lost 1-0. The loss ended their playoff run.

Soccer: Girls soccer won its first game against Ashland in overtime, and moved on to the quarterfinal game against Norwell. The Bulldogs lost 2-0 to end their season.

Football: While no longer playing playoff games after a loss to Dighton-Rehoboth, the football team did play a non-playoff game against Somerset Berkley last week. The team won 33-22, in what is the Bulldogs’ final home game of the season. They play again at Middleboro.

Volleyball: The volleyball team qualified for the playoffs as the 15 seed, but was swept by defending state champs Notre Dame, 3-0.
