Alewives Anonymous, Inc. (AA) will host its annual meeting and quahog chowder supper for members, guests and others interested in the world of alewives (or herring) Sunday, April 28 at 5 p.m. The supper will be held at the Rochester Senior Center, 67 Dexter Lane.

There is no charge for the supper for members who have paid their dues. It is $10 to renew annual dues, and $10 for new member dues. The dinner will cost $5 for non-members. 

After the annual meeting, Christopher Rillahan, a University of Massachusetts Dartmouth doctoral student who has studied Mattapoisett herring with high resolution sonar equipment, will present about his findings.
