Anchors Aweigh at U.S. Coast Guard Safe Boating Classes

MARION — All hands on deck! The Marion-Onset US Coast Guard is hosting safe boating classes at West Wareham Fire Station #2 to help earn a boating certificate in just one day. 

Available dates include Saturday, Feb. 1 and Saturday, Mar. 1. 

The class will cover topics such as introduction to boating, safe operation and navigation, boating emergencies and more. Certain insurance companies also offer discounts to boaters who successfully complete the course.
