Attend the 55th Annual “Christmas by the Sea Bazaar” on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 am to 1 pm at St. Anthony’s Parish, 26 Hammond St., Mattapoisett. 

New to this year, over 50 pieces of original painted artwork by Sandy McIlmail, a Mattapoisett artist, will be available for purchase. Her pieces include holiday decor, wall hangings, trays, birdhouses, furniture, wooden chests, storage boxes, and more.

In addition, many handcrafted gifts will be offered by local vendors including soaps, crocheted mitten, hat and scarf sets, lap blankets, resin key chains, honey, candles, knot bags, sea shell trees, ornaments, sea shell window art, quilted items, drift wood creations, hand spun scarves and more.  Other vendors include Tastefully Simple and Silpada Jewelry. Credit cards will be accepted.

The Bazaar will offer live holiday music, refreshments, and an assortment of decorated wreaths and greens arrangements. Also at the Bazaar will be gift basket and art raffles including a grand raffle (1st prize:  $1,000, 2nd prize:  $500, 3rd prize: $250).

A Gift Boutique, a Toy Shop, cookie decorating, games and a visit from Santa.

All proceeds will benefit St. Anthony’s and St. Rita’s Book Awards for high school seniors.
