On Saturday May 25 the Mattapoisett Free Public Library will host have two events for children.  The first is a 10 a.m. music program with Kay Hanley Alden, a dance educator trained at the Boston Conservatory.  Alden will bring a colorful maypole and ribbons to the library, and time-permitting, games will be included. Librarians recommend this program for children age 5 and up.

Then, from 11 a.m. to 1 pm the Art Mobile will be here from the New Bedford Art Museum.  Operating much like a bookmobile, the purple van with two experienced art educators aboard will engage children with fun, educational art activities.  This program is part the “One Book, Tri-Town” series of events.  All ages are welcome.
