MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Free Public Library will host a variety of art events through the rest of March.

There will be a Fun Fused Glass workshop on Wednesday, March 22 at 3:30 p.m.

Create dichroic fused glass pendants or magnets. Ages 9+ only.

Children ages 9-12 must be supervised one-on-one by an adult.

No exceptions as this is a safety issue.

Create oil pastel scratch boards and make mandalas on Tuesday, March 28 at 3:15 p.m.

Make up to three of your own scratch boards and mandalas by using a technique called Sgraffito.

Recommended for ages 7 and up. Please register for this event at https://www.mattapoisettlibrary.org/.

As a bonus, artists will finish work on a community acrylic painting and all participants will have the opportunity to contribute. When the painting is complete, it will be on display in the library.
