MARION — Author and artist Dannie Engwert will lead an art workshop at the Marion Council on Aging on Tuesday, July 16. Participants will have the opportunity to create three unique mandalas, geometric patterns that represent the universe, as part of a meditative exercise to help deal with grief.

The mandalas will be photographed and assembled into a collage. Engwert will also discuss her book about grief and healing.
