Meet local artist Liz LaValley at a meet and greet on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library. She will present her work on her gallery show, Evolution of a Poetic Medium: Handmade Books in a Digital Age.

LaValley’s multi-media work is on exhibit at the Mattapoisett Library from Nov. 15 to Dec. 14. At the meet and greet, she will show all the components that she uses to create her multi-layered handmade books. Drop by and she’ll answer questions, particularly those on book construction.
