Krista Russell will read and sign her award-winning “Chasing the Nightbird” at the Mattapoisett Library on Thursday, July 11 at 1:30 p.m.

Her historical novel, set in New Bedford, was a Massachusetts Book Award winner. Russell is originally from Mattapoisett.
