Bags that give back

Aug 27, 2020

Teah Keogh, owner of online retailer Mindful Mala Project, is organizing a to-go version of an event she had planned for the fall to benefit two charities.

She had planned to showcase local vendors at an event in the fall, and decided instead to support them by buying some items from them to make participants bags. Other vendors donated products, and Keogh was able to give interested attendees who had purchased a ticket for the fall event a bag of products of equal value.

Keogh plans to offer more giveaway bags this fall, and include raffle tickets in each bag. Last time, she donated some of the profits to Tri-Town Against Racism, and this time she plans to donate to the Women’s Fund in New Bedford.

Bags go on sale on my Mindful Mala Project website on Sept. 3, and bag pick up is Sept. 12.
