The Rochester Women's Club held a potluck and painting party on Thursday night where the members designed kindness rocks.
Painted with words of encouragement and images, the ladies collected the rocks from bogs, beaches and the woods.
The Kindness Rocks Project, with its movement to “spread inspiration and motivation,” has encouraged many to share thoughtful words around their towns.
Rochester Women's Club members said they would spread the rocks in public places throughout the area, so don't forget to look down every once in a while. Inspiration could be just under foot.
