MATTAPOISETT —  Join the Mattapoisett Land Trust and the Nasketucket Bird Club for a beginner’s level birding walk on Sunday, Sept. 17 from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Grace Meadow Preserve.

Mike LaBossiere of the Nasketucket Bird Club will lead participants through the morning walk in nature and will provide an opportunity to learn about local wildlife. LaBossiere will lead the group through a meadow and a section of woodland trails to look for birds.

The walk will start at the Mattapoisett Land Trust kiosk at the end of Bowman Roadd at the Grace Meadow Preserve. Participants should bring binoculars and dress appropriately for the outdoors, including sturdy footwear and long pants.
