Snow sits atop a new sign detailing the transfer station rules.
MARION — The Benson Brook Transfer Station opened on Jan. 27, after months of preparation.
The station is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Marion and Rochester residents only. Residents o wish to use the station must also have an access sticker — which is provided by their respective town.
There will be a grace period at the station for those who have requested — but not yet received — a sticker.
