MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Land Trust and the Tri Town Against Racism Organization will celebrate Black History Month with a story walk at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb, 22.

The walk will start at the Mattapoisett Land Trust preserve property near the town wharf and move to the Mattapoisett Museum, 5 Church St.

The book  “There Was a Party for Langston” by Jason Reynolds will be featured during the story walk. 

At the museum, there will be speakers, materials, free books, refreshments and hot chocolate. 

Those attending are encouraged to share stories and poetry about their own black heroes.
