Buzzards Bay Sail & Power Squadron, a local boating organization part of United States Power Squadron (America’s Boating Club), is presenting a series of seminars and courses this fall.

The squadron’s area covers the coasts of Marion and Mattapoisett.

The organization is offering a course on weather that meets for eight sessions beginning Jan. 7. The course meets online Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The course covers how weather systems form, behave, move and interact with one another. The class costs $185 for nonmembers and $85 for members.

The squadron’s education plan for 2025 includes several courses, seminars and training on water.
