On Wednesday March 13 the Marion Natural History Museum after school group learned about shells and the animals that inhabit them.
Student participants looked at gastropod and bivalve shells from the museum’s collections, some of which were donated by the museum’s founder, Elizabeth Taber.
Afterwards they used shells to design unique animals and shared which habitat these animals might live in.
