The Buzzards Bay Coalition announced on March 12 that they will postpone or cancel all scheduled events and gatherings now through the end of April that have 25 or more people following the recommendations provided by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for coronavirus.

Registered participants for events will be notified via email if an event is cancelled or postponed.

All coalition reserves will remain open and small-group outdoor activities scheduled for March and April will continue with appropriate safeguards to keep participants, volunteers and staff healthy. 

The coalition said that anyone who has been in contact with a person exhibiting flu-like symptoms or exposure to the virus should not participate in programs.
