MATTAPOISETT — The Buzzards Bay Coalition Annual Golf Tournament, which will help to clean up nitrogen pollution in New Bedford Harbor, will be held at the Bay Club on Oct. 25. 

Practice for the tournament begins at 10 a.m. the shotgun start for all golfers will be at noon. Foursomes play a scramble format tournament with awards, prizes, and an exciting putting contest, with the chance to win $5,000.

The $250 individual registration fee or $1,000 foursome fee includes 18 holes of golf, greens fees, cart rental, boxed lunch, beer and snacks on the course, a tournament gift, and a lively reception at the Golf House Restaurant with cocktails, hearty fare, and awards and prizes. Tee sponsorships are available for $350 to gain added company visibility.
