ROCHESTER — The 100th Anniversary Celebration of Sippican Pomona Grange #31 will be held at the Rochester Grange Hall, 205 Hartley Road, on Saturday, April 1.

 

Sippican Pomona is a regional Grange comprised of the following Granges, Rochester, Acushnet, Dartmouth, East Freetown, South  Middleboro and Westport.

 

There will be a reception and dinner following a 2 p.m. celebration for the anniversary. This event is open to the public. 

 

Guests include Massachusetts State Grange President Glen Gibson and Nation Grange President Betsy Huber.  Brief histories of the area Granges will be presented by a member of each Grange.

 

A musical program by “The Perrys” and social hour will follow the festivities.

 

The Grange brings people together to build stronger communities by encouraging agriculture,  environmental sustainability, community service and leadership.
