The children will be invited to visit the school at a later date.

Any child born before Sept. 1, 2011 is eligible for enrollment in kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school year. At this meeting, the kindergarten teachers will be present and we will highlight the program and curriculum, discuss the kindergarten orientation program on the first day of school, provide an opportunity for parents to visit a kindergarten classroom and share other information regarding children’s transition to Center School. In addition, school registration packets will be available to take home to complete.

Kindergarten registration dates are Wednesday, Feb. 3 from 3 to 5 p.m. or on Thursday, Feb. 4 from 8:45 to 11:00 a.m. Registration is for parents only. On these dates, parents will meet individually with the school secretary, nurse and principal. In order to have the registration process proceed in a timely manner, parents are asked to bring completed registration packets with them. In the event of inclement weather, registration will be held the following week, Wednesday, Feb. 10 or Thursday, Feb. 11, during the same scheduled times.

Those with a child who will be eligible to start kindergarten, but will not attend kindergarten and/or will attend a private kindergarten are asked to call the office at Center School (508-758-2521) to notify the school.

Anyone aware of a child who is eligible for kindergarten but who is unaware of the upcoming meeting is asked to have the parents contact Center School so a registration packet can be forwarded to them.
