Charles G. Bergold, 88, of Marion passed away Friday March 18, at Tobey Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara C. (Silvia) Bergold. Mr. Bergold was born in Plainedge, New York, the son of the late George C.F. and Margaret (Efinger) Bergold.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Rochester, a WWII Army veteran and he enjoyed boating. Mr. Bergold worked for many years as the director of operations for Heat Transfer Products, Inc. in East Freetown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Susan Xie of CA, Carla Taylor of Virginia, Charles Bergold of New Jersey and Doug Bergold of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services and burial will be private.
