MARION — The Classic Film series sponsored by the Sippican Historical Society and the Marion Council on Aging continues with the showing of “The Graduate” (1967) on Friday, Jan. 18, at the Marion COA beginning at 7 p.m.

The movie, starring Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft, and Katharine Ross features an upper middle class college graduate who arrives home. While putting the pieces of his life together he is seduced by the wife of his father’s business partner. 

To make matters worse, he falls in love with Mrs. Robinson’s daughter – much to the horror of Mr. and Mrs. Robinson. 

Before the film is shown, music will be provided by Truman Terrell on the piano, Bob Sanderson on clarinet, and vocals by Michele Richardson.
