MARION – Claudette D. (Sirois) Perry, 85, of Marion, passed away November 3, 2023,at Sippican Healthcare Center. She was the loving wife of the late John G. Perry and the daughter of the late George and Angeline (LePierre) Sirois.

She was born in Westport and lived in Fairhaven before moving to Marion in 1956. She graduated from Fairhaven High School.

Claudette worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford and later worked doing private duty care.

She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church in Mattapoisett. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, doing plastic canvas needlepoint, and caring for a stray cat that she called “Baby Girl”.

Survivors include her son, John G. Perry, Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Fairhaven; her daughter, Debra Ann Perry of Dartmouth; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a circle of close friends at her former residence, Little Neck Village. She was the sister of the late Rita, Eva, Jackie, Gerry, George, Albert and Guy.

Visiting hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations at 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham.

Her funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023 at St. Rita’s Church, 121 Front St., Marion.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Marion.
