Climate change scientist to visit Tabor Academy

MARION — Filmmaker Alizé Carrère will visit Tabor Academy on Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m. to share her work on how people have been adapting to the challenges posed by climate change.

Carrère has been documenting innovative adaptations like floating farms in Bangladesh and ice pyramids in the Himalayas with support from The Redford Center and National Geographic.

She will share her experiences and film footage at Tabor’s Stroud Academic Center, Lyndon South Auditorium at 242 Front Street in Marion.

This program is the second part of Tabor’s “Science@Work” lecture series.
