Christine Lacourse, of Mattapoisett, is looking for people to donate to the March of Dimes with a cupcake fundraiser.

“Cupcakes for a Cause” is in partnership with Emma Jean's Cupcake Factory & Ice Cream Shoppe in Fairhaven.

Lacourse's son was born 10 weeks early, weighing just over three pounds. Now he’s doing well due to help from the March of Dimes. To support the organization through the drive, Lacourse is lookingfor  people willing to make donations through cupcake orders. The deadline for all orders is Sept. 20.

Cupcakes can be picked up Sept. 27 through 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Emma Jeans, 115 Huttleston Ave., Fairhaven.

The cupcakes are a $10 donation per cupcake, four for $38 donation, six for $55 donation, and 12 for $100 donation.
