The April 1 deadline to license dogs in Mattapoisett is quickly approaching. All dogs found not to have a license after April 1 will be subject to a fine from Animal Control officers.

The Town Clerk is asking dog owners to bring in a valid updated rabies certificate and purchase a new license at Town Hall, weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
