Dorothy E. Beauchemin, 85, of White Island, East Wareham, passed away at Tobey Hospital on July 4. Mrs. Beauchemin was the former wife of the late Thomas Henderson of 16 years and the late Donald F. Beauchemin of 34 years. Mrs. Beauchemin was born in Lonsdale, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Howard L. and Elizabeth (Ward) Mallowes Sr.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and spending time in her beautiful gardens. She welcomed everyone to visit and enjoy her home on White Island. She was a faithful follower of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

She is survived by her children; Judy Willis of Wareham, Sue and her husband Chuck Paul of Wareham, Bob Henderson and his wife Kathie of East Wareham, Tami and her husband David Withington of Duxbury, Sara and her husband Denis McElligott of Maryland and Gina Grady of Sandwich. She was the grandmother of Heather and her husband Chris Demone, Dawn and her husband James Moodie, Mellie and her husband Max Chase, Tommy Henderson, Brooke Withington, Paige Withington, Caitlyn McElligott, Chris McElligott and Madison Grady. She is also survived by her great grandsons Travers, Noah, J and Riley as well as many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was the sister of the late Beatrice Weygand and Howard L. Mallowes Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17 at 11 a.m. in St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 124 Front St. Marion. Visiting hours have been omitted. Burial will be private.
