The Easter Bunny celebrates early at Plumb Corner
The Easter Bunny took a quick detour off of the usual bunny trail Saturday afternoon to spend some time in Rochester. Although surely busy with the lead-up to Easter, he spent a few hours with Easter egg hunters at Plumb Corner.
The Rochester Police Department was on scene, and the Women's Club held a small bake sale. Nearby, members of the Old Rochester Destination Imagination team offered cupcakes, cookies, brownies and face painting.
Shortly before the Easter egg hunt began, the Easter Bunny led the children in a short parade. The parade, filled with fuzzy bunny ears, wicker baskets and bouncing children, ended at the egg-strewn fields.
Once the hunt was over, the children returned to sort out their prizes, take photos with the Easter Bunny, and dance to the blaring music.
