Eleanor Beauregard, 87

Mrs. Eleanor Beauregard, 87, wife of Maurice Beauregard, was called home to her Lord on Nov. 18. Born in New Bedford, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Batty) Germain. She was formerly a resident of Liberty, Maine. She was a charge nurse at Tobey Hospital of Wareham. She spent many years in Mattapoisett raising her family before retiring to Liberty, Maine. She spent her summers swimming in Lake St. George in Maine with many dear friends.

Eleanor was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed time spent with her family, playing bingo, lecturing for weight watchers and was an avid reader.

In addition to her loving husband Maurice (predeceased), she is survived by three daughters, Susan Keyloun of Oriental, North Carolina, Kathleen Macomber of Onset, Mary-Ann Duval and Daniel of  Onset, predeceased sisters, Margaret Bibby of Fairhaven; Alice Daigle of Nashua, New Hampshire and George Germain of New Bedford; as well as many caring friends and neighbors. She will be sadly missed by her little dog “Daisy.”

Memorial services will be held Sunday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Fall River Church of Christ 840 Rock St., Fall River, Ma. 02720.
