Elizabeth Taber Library now offers drop off, holds, donations

MARION — Curbside pick-up, drop offs and donations have begun at the Elizabeth Taber Library. Patrons can place a hold on Marion library materials online through its website or over the phone. Staff will call to schedule curbside pick-up appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays. Readers can drop off returns at bins provided in front of the book drop Monday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. People may leave donations in bins at the rear door of the library Monday to Thursday from noon to 4 p.m, if they are in good condition.

The library is hosting a number of virtual reading programs online. Elke Pierre will host a yoga with kids event on the library’s Facebook page on July 1 at 2 p.m. 

Other programs include a Tuesday Lunch Bunch, where Librarian Rosemary Grey will read a chapter of “Marvin and James Save the Day.” On Wednesday mornings Grey will read three stories online.  The library also offers weekly STEAM challenges at 2 p.m.
